With Christmas Day forecast as a Severe fire danger day we decided not to risk it and relocated our Christmas Day to Thornbury. Thank goodness for our electric esky to keep our lunch cool while we transported everything, including presents to Gerards. We had already set up a tree and decorations in the sitting room outside Gerard' room and everyone, including Emmy, enjoyed opening presents. Gerard used the teeth method that he discovered last Christmas to rip is presents open. Down the hallway to the dining room for lunch- roast lamb with sticky glaze and all the trimmings, including Christmas pudding. aftre lunch we retired back to the sitting room while Jame's family enjoyed thier Christmas in the dining room with some board games and an afternoo nap for everyone. Since Christmas Day last year was a hospital affair we were really keen to have Christmas at home. So with cooler weather on Boxing Day we celebrated again, this time in Warrandyte.
