Cultural Experiences

The Melbourne United Basketball Season pass continues to be put to great use. We even enjoyed basketball at Hisense with the roof open- apparently a first! Gerard also attended our girls night out to Nunsense The Musical starring our good friend Lisa Upson and the Eltham Theatre Group way back in November. We went to the opening of Rod Collie's exhibition in Cheltenham in December- no mean feat to get there from Thornbury by 6pm. Last week we went to the very accessible State Theatre at the Arts Centre to see the Illusionists 1903. Absolutely sensational. Plans now to see The Pianist next week and North by North West in a couple of weeks time and maybe even a subscription to Morning Melodies at the Art Centre as well. All thanks to some recreational funding for Gerard and a Companion Card for me.
